She was a widow, mother of one, grandmother of three and great-grandmother of seven.
Rose Ann graduated from Enid High School in 1942. She married Edgar Allen (Pritch) Pritchard in Nov. 1945 and resided in Enid, Okla. They also resided in Longdale, Okla., and McAllen, Texas, until moving to Lakeside in 1984. In 1999 they moved to the East Valley of Phoenix, settling in Apache Junction in 2001.
During her lifetime, Rose Ann managed a local retail store in Canton Lake and worked secretarial positions for Groendyke Transportation and 3-Star Construction. She was active in Eastern Star. Mostly she was proud to raise her kid and grandchildren.
Rose Ann is survived by her brother, William T. (Jean) Sheets of Duncan, Okla., and their extended family, daughter Patricia Ann Pritchard of Apache Junction; grandson Todd Allen Jones of Dallas, Texas; granddaughters Carra Diane (Ken) Henscheid of Flagstaff (and their four daughters, Stephanie, Alexis, Kendra and Brooklyn) and Amy Kathleen (Timothy) Leppert of Spearfish, S.D. (and their two daughters, Lauren and Arynn and son Caleb).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Rose Ann's name to Odyssey VistaCare Hospice Foundation, 717 N. Harwood, Suite 1500, Dallas, TX 75201, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
A memorial service for Mrs. Pritchard will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, where interment will be with her husband.
