Lieutenant - Fell in Battle

Union Civil War hero and naval officer.
Preston graduated first in the Class of 1862 at the U.S. Naval Academy. He was killed in action leading a landing party of U.S. Sailors and Marines at the Second Battle of Fort Fisher.
