OBITUARY; Published in the Warrenton Economist-Banner on Friday, 5 September 1890, Page 3, Column 3
Death, the uncompromising and irresistable "reaper" has cut short the life of one of Wright City's prominent citizens, in the person of Sandy Pratt, last Tuesday. Mr. Pratt was born in Culpepper county, Virginia, and came to Warren in his early boyhood. He was aged 71 years and 14 days and was among the oldest druggists in the State, and a leading citizen of Wrights, where by his estemable Christian character he had won hosts of friends who highly respected him. Wednesday his remains were buried in the Wright City cemetery in presence of a large concourse of sympathizing relatives and friends.
