MAGDALINE POULOS
Mrs. John C. Poulos, 6, of 502 Cleveland Ave., Manitowoc, died Wednesday
morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. James DeWitt will officiate and burial will be
in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Poulos, nee Magdaline Porubcanski, was born July 10, 1904, at Porubca,
Czechoslavakia. She came to the United States as a child and settled at
Manitowoc. She was married to John Poulos in August of 1928 and the couple
resided at Manitowoc. Mrs. Poulos was a member of the Eastern Star and the
Shrine Auxiliary. Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, (private); two daughters, (private); a brother,
Clement, of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Isabel Drumm of Manitowoc and Mrs.
Pauline Bartley of Milwaukee and seven grandchildren.
A son and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home (9th Street entrance) after 4 p.m.
Thursday where there will be an Eastern Star service at 7:30 p.m.
