Mrs. Helen G. Popp, 78, of 1109 S. 26th Street, Manitowoc, died late Monday morning, January 28, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Eugene Brochtrup with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Popp, nee Helen G. Weina, was born January 20, 1907, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Michalek Weina. She was a lifelong resident of Manitowoc.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard and Elizabeth Popp of Manitowoc and Clarence Popp of Manitowoc; three daughters and a son-in-law, Lorraine Popp of Milwaukee, Mildred Jansen of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and Grace and William Pagel of Algoma; a sister, Martha Schweigl of Manitowoc; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survived. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday evening. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening.
