Mrs. Mayme Polivka, age 94, a resident of Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc, died Sunday,
July 17, 1994, at Shady Lane Home.
It was Mrs. Polivka's wish to be cremated with burial of her cremains at Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
She was born June 17, 1900, in the town of Kossuth, Wis., daughter of the late
Wencel and Mary Kupsch Oswald. She married Louis J. Polivka on April 19, 1919,
in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1972. She was a longtime member of First
Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include two grandchildren, William (Ruth) Westover, DePere, Wis., Tom
Westover, California; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She
was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Esther Westover, four brothers
and four sisters.
Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
