Clarence Pike, Jr., 60, died Wednesday, March 13, 1996 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born June 4, 1935 in Casey County he was the son of the late Clarence and Mazie Vest Pike. He was a former maintenance worker for Palm Beach and Cricketeer and a member of the Cornishville Baptist church. Survivors include: his wife, Lillie Mae Goodlett Pike; three sons, David Pike, Lincoln County, Larry M. Pike, Mercer County, Tim D. Pike, Harrodsburg; one daughter, Denise Pike Smith, Burgin; one brother, Albert Pike, California; four sisters, June Randolph and Opal Young, both of Ohio; Stella Pelly, Mitchellsburg, and Florence Gullett, Harrodsburg; five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, one great grandchild. Two brothers, Denny and Tom Pike and one sister, Mae Tucker preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 16, at 2:00 p.m., at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Readnour officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
