ALLEGRA COUSAR PICKARD, 85, of Burlison, Tenn., retired clerk for Cole Lumber Co. in Drummonds, Tenn., died Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East after a stroke. Services were Wednesday at Munford (Tenn.) Funeral Home with burial in Helen Crigger Cemetery in Munford. She was a member and secretary of New Salem United Methodist Church. Allegra was preceded in death by her husband Elbert "Bulldog" Pickard. She leaves a daughter, Annette Fleming of Burlison; a son, Terry Pickard of Munford; four sisters, Osie Hunter of Burlison, Martha Wakefield of Rosemark, Mary Cole of Drummonds and Eleanor Talley of Munford; a brother, Oren Cousar of Burlison, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
