Sharon Lynette Parsons, age 61, of Tull; passed away Thursday May 1, 2008. She was born July 15, 1946, in Bauxite, Arkansas. Mrs. Parsons was a homemaker and a member of River St. Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her father, Dewell Brisby; mother, Juanita [Willmon Brisby] Jordan and a brother, Robert Cottrell.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Parsons of Tull; two sons, Tim Parsons of Benton and Mike Parsons of Bauxite; two brothers, Ronnie and Norman Cottrell both of Bauxite and six grandchildren, Tiffany Mannix, Tim Parsons, Jr., Trisha Parsons, Torrie Parsons, Jonathan Parsons and Jordan Parsons.
Pallbearers will be Denver Rice, Lane Rice, Stephen Cottrell, Jason Willmon, Mike Roland and Richard Parsons. Honorary pallbearer will be Leland Turbyfill.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday May 5, at River St. Church of Christ with burial at New Rosemont Cemetery. Bro. Paul Breitweiser, Bro. Bill Duncan and Bro. Calvin Turbyfill will be officiating.
