Judith Louise Parker, daughter of Fredrick R. Parker Sr. and Lila L. (Roby) Parker was born February 8, 1946 in Osceola, Iowa and passed from this life Monday, May 2, 2016 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa at 70 years of age.

Judy grew up around Wick, Iowa and graduated from Martensdale - St. Marys High School. Judy was a very hard worker. She worked at Bussanmas Conoco and Grocery in Bevington, she managed the Jiffy Xpress in Martensdale and also was the Post Master for the Prole, Iowa Post Office and retired from both of those positions in 2012. Judy loved her family and enjoyed any time she had to spend with them. She was a great cook and loved baking for family.

Those relatives who preceded Judy in death were her parents, Fredrick R. Parker Sr. and Lila L. (Roby) Parker and her brother, William O. Parker.

Judy had a smile for everyone, she was gracious and kind to all. Judy brought desserts to family gatherings that were always such a hit. My personal favorite was her cherry dessert recipe, I still make it a couple of times a year.
