Doris Mae Palstring, 52, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Stephens, was born in Texas County, March 16, 1910, and died at her home near Tyrone Feb. 24, 1963.
She grew to womanhood in the Grogan Community and had lived here practically all her life. She was away much of the time after she finished secretarial school as she worked for a time in Kansas City, where she had a responsible position. She worked in St. Louis, also.
She was married to Clarence Palstring Jan. 2, 1951. A few months ago she became ill. She was a member of the Nagle Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence; her mother, Louthie Brewer; a half sister, Beulah Roehlk, Sanford, Fla., two step sisters, Golyeah Sellars, Kansas City, Opal Mannix who lives in California.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the Big Creek Church with Sadie Miles officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Gentry of Cabool,
