Knowles Ruby Teel, 89, of Walnut Ridge passed away Monday, Aug. 17, 2009, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Teel was born May 19, 1920, at Lynn, the daughter of Haney and Stella Helms Oldham. She was united in marriage to William Teel Jr., in January 1939 at Sedgwick. Mrs. Teel was a member of Free Will Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.
Survivors include her husband, William Teel Jr. of Walnut Ridge; daughter Katherine Woody and son, Tony Teel, both of Walnut Ridge; four grandchildren, Nicole McLaughlin, Mechelle Teel, Natalie Teel and Heath Teel; six great-grandchildren, Patience, Tyler, Trevor, Havin, Jeremy, Cody and Jordon; great-grandchild, Aiden; three sisters, Daphene Campbell, Opal Ivy and Willene Johnson. Many other relatives and friends mourn her passing.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will be in Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery directed by Higginbotham Funeral Services of Walnut Ridge.
