Mike Humphrey, driver of a 1964 Chevrolet pickup, stopped at the intersection and was talking with Nuckols, when a 1967 Oldsmobile driven by Mrs.John Bradley, Glasgow, attempted a right turn and was struck in the rear by a 1955 Chevrolet driven by Albert Smith of Temple Hill. Police said the impact of the collision knocked the Oldsmobile into the truck which struck Nuckols and the tractor.
"Mr. Nuckols is survived by his wife Zelma, two brothrs, Leon and Jess, both of Glasgow, four sisters, Mrs.Haskell Sabens, Mrs. Luther Buckley, Mrs. J. R. Underwood, all of Glasgow, and Mrs. Clyde Belcher, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
