PLAIN DEALING, LA - Services for Mrs. Jack Slack Nuckolls, 73, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 14, 1990 at the Plain Dealing Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Plain Dealing Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bailey Mortuary - Plain Dealing.
Mrs. Nuckolls, a native and lifelong resident of this area, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 1990 after a long illness. She was a member of the River Valley Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Nuckolls in 1974. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law,Louise and Riley McElhanon of Plain Dealing and Joye and Carrol Knighton of Haughton, La; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; one brother, M. B. "Billy" Slack of San Antonio, Texas; seven sisters, Ozelle Barnett and Mozelle Johnson, both of Plain Dealing, Neva Martin of Bradley, Ark., Eva Norris and Audrie Thorton, both of Bossier City, Dutch Oglesby of Shreveport, and Bonnie Flory of Sheridan, Ark.
