Nuckolls Sr., 72, who died of a heart attack Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 27, 1964, at Forrest Memorial Hospital, will be held at the Stevens Funeral Home 2 p.m. Friday. Rev. David Kribbs will conduct the services, assisted by Rev. Sam Gash. Burial will be in Forrest Park Cemetery. Born in Bolivar, Tenn. On Dec.31,1891, Mr. Nuckolls was the son of Nettie Gregg and Robert Nuckolls. He spent most of his life in and around Forrest City, and at the time of his death lived at 315 Tennessee Avenue. A retired section foreman for Rock Island Railroad here, he operated a boat dock at Bear Creek Lake near Marianna for several years. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Armstrong Nuckolls; a son, A. D. Nuckolls, Jr.; one grandchild; a brother Homer Nuckolls of Higginson, Ark.; and two sisters, Mrs. Jim Dunn and Mrs. Ethel Fuller, both of Searcy.
