" I.T. Nuchols, commonly known as Doc, died suddenly Monday noon at his home near Block House. He had been here in town in the forenoon and soon after returning home, dropped dead from heart trouble. He was about 64 years old and was one of the substantial citizens of the county. He was a Confederate veteran of the Civil War. Burial Tuesday in the Piney Grove Cemetery".
