RUFFIN- Everette Earl Nuckles, 85, of Ruffin, died on March 29, 2006, at Carolina House in Elizabeth City, NC. Mr. Nuckles was born in Danville, Va., to Charles Emmett and Verda Adcock Nuckles. He was a member of Stokesland United Methodist Church in Danville and was a member of the Woodlawn Heights Chapter of the Masonic Lodge in Richmond, Va. Hee was a World War II Army veteran and was retired from the Corp of Engineers for the U.S. Army. At the time of his retirement, he was an assistant supervisor in the air conditioning and refrigeration division.
Surviving are sons, Barry Nuckles and wife Debbie and Jeffrey Nuckles and wife Brenda; grandson Matthew Nuckles; brother Forest Nuckles; sister Helen Pruitt.
Burial will be in Hickory Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Ruffin.
