Philip E. Novak, 67, Dies at Blue Rapids
Philip Edwin Novak, 67, Blue Rapids, died Thursday, July 24, at his home. He had cancer.
The son of John and Anna Zakovee Novak, he was born August 22, 1912 at Irving. He was a retired framer and lived south of Blue Rapids.
He was married to Anna Mae Holm, November 19, 1935, at Marysville. She survives.
Other survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Mary Johnson, Marysville, Mrs. Rose Hunter, Randolph, and Mrs. Angeline Flower, Belleville; and a brother, Frank Novak, Onaga.
Services were at 10 a.m. Monday at Swede Creek United Methodist Church. Burial was in Bellegrade Cemetery, south of Blue Rapids, in north Riley County.
