Lyle Murphy of Wickenburg, died Sept. 12 in Wickenburg. He was 90. Mr. Murphy was born Nov. 18, 1910 in Blackwell, Okla. He had lived in Arizona for the past 13 years. Lyle graduated in Latham, Kan., and moved to Yarnell, Ariz. from Kent, Wash., in 1988. He came to Wickenburg in 1996. He was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Church. Survivors include his wife, Pepper Murphy; daughter Carol Murphy of Kent, Wash.; son Maurice Murphy of Kent; stepsons Paul Curtiss of Big Rapids, Mich., and Chris Specklin of Lansing, Mich.; stepdaughter Jackie Nash of Vermontville, Mich.; grandchildren that include two boys and two girls in Washington, and three boys and two girls in Michigan; and great-grandchildren that include one boy in Richmond, Va., and a boy and a girl, both in Kent, Wash. Memorial services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Wickenburg. Mike McCarty will officiate. Burial will follow in the Aguila Cemetery in Aguila.
