Mrs. Mary K. Moseley, age 85 of Vidalia, formerly of Lyons, died Thursday, April 1, 2010 in the Bethany Nursing Center in Vidalia after an extended illness. She was a native of Winnsboro, North Carolina and had lived most of her life in Toombs County. She was a homemaker, a member of the New Beginning Church of God in Lyons, and was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie L. Moseley, Sr. in 1971 and a daughter, Jewel Moseley in 1988.
Mrs. Moseley is survived by four daughters, Evelyn Nobles of Washington, Georgia; Edna R. O'Neal of Vidalia; Gloria Dismuke of Normantown; and Dianne Hattaway of Douglas, three sons, Robert Lee Moseley of Claxton; David Mosley of Houston, Texas; and Jimmy R. Mosley of Collins, two brothers, Lester Kight and Ernest Kight both of Metter, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 3rd at 11:00 am in the New Beginning Church of God with Reverend Mike Smith and Reverend Rodney Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Tattnall County.
