He was the third son of Sir William Miller, Knt., of Braehead House, Londonderry, who d. 1900, by Mary, youngest dau. of the late Robert MOAT, Esq., of Moat Park, co. Antrim; b. 1865; m. 1890 Maud Mary, eldest dau. of the late Frederick MEREDITH, Esq., of Middlesex. Sir Francis MILLER, who was educated at Foyle College, Londonderry, and admitted a Solicitor to High Court of Judicature Ireland 1888, was a Councillor of the
Londonderry Corporation 1897-1904, and Mayor of Londonderry 1901 and 1902, and is City Solicitor and Town Clerk of Londonderry. He lived at Aughenish, Buncrana, Co. Donegal; Member of the Constituiional Club and the Northern Counties' Club, Londonderry.

Information from Tim Reynolds(48314828), that subject was an Irish rugby international. He played one Test for Ireland, against Scotland in 1886.
