Tim Mickle, 63, passed away quietly with his family by his side at Mercy Hospice on Friday, February 12, 2016 after a yearlong battle with brain cancer.

Tim was born in Boone, Iowa and was a 1971 graduate of Valley High School. He was a longtime resident of West Des Moines until moving to Winterset in 2004.

Tim worked for Massey Ferguson, Inc. for 19 years and for the past several years he worked in the information technology area for Wells Fargo.

Tim enjoyed fishing, playing pool, golf, owned horses, and was a huge sports fan. He loved the Hawkeyes, Chiefs, Bears and Yankees.

He is survived by his best friend and domestic partner, Debbie Goldoni; son, Matthew Mickle; daughter, Ashley Mickle and her significant other, Ashley; step-son, John Goldoni; granddaughter, Rylee Michelle; mother, Evelyn Mickle; two sisters, Jan (Don) Thomas and Vickie Gonzalez; brother, Mike (Linde) Mickle; and many nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, William.

Funeral services will be held 1p.m. Tuesday at McLaren's Chapel with entombment in Resthaven Mausoleum
