| Birth: | 1801 Ohio, USA | | Death: | Oct. 25, 1868 Armstrong County Pennsylvania, USA | The daughter of John Babb (1768-1829) and Rebecca Caster/Castor (1769-abt. 1851); born in Ohio, perhaps in/near East Liverpool, perhaps on Babb's Island in the Ohio River. On 23 March, 1820, she married Thomas McNabb in Columbiana County, Ohio. He died before the 1850 Census was taken--and may well be buried in this plot; there is no remaining marker for him. Kessiah was the mother of Mexican and Civil War soldier John Babb McNabb. Kessiah was my 3rd great-grandmother.
Other children of this family were Samuel McNabb (born about 1828), William McNabb (born about 1833), Susan McNabb (born about 1835) and Mary Ann McNabb (born about 1838).
