Belva was born October 19, 1919 in Mangum, Oklahoma to William and Minnie Lou Byars.
She loved the outdoors, birds, flowers, butterflies, camping, and animals. She excelled in arts and crafts. She enjoyed blue grass music and loved to attend shows.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Allen D. McClain; a daughter in-law, Betty McClain; four brothers and one sister.
Survivors include her children, Robert McClain of Lake Jackson, Texas and Barbara Sue Lisle of Springdale, Arkansas; five grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
The family invites all, friends old and new, to celebrate Belva's life from 5:00pm-8:00pm Friday, June 20, 2014 at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale, Arkansas.
