| Birth: | Mar. 16, 1887 | | Death: | Nov. 17, 1961 |  KNOX – Charles A. McCall, 74, of Parker RD died at 3 a.m. Friday in the McKinley Convalescent Home in Chicora after an extended illness. He was born in Salem Township, Clarion County, on March 16, 1887, the son of the late John and Harriett McCall. Mr. McCall served as a member of the Perry Township School Board for 25 years and was retired from the Northern Pipe Line Company after 42 years of service. Mr. McCall also was a member of the F. & A.M Canby Lodge 520 of St. Petersburg, Oil City Lodge of Perfection and the New Castle Consistory. He was superintendent of the Sunday School of the Perryville Methodist Church, lay leader and an active church member for many years. Mr. McCall is survived by his wife, the former Lottie Stull; a son Ward, of Rochester, N.Y., three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and two nephews. Friends may call at anytime in the Stuart Funeral Home in Knox. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm today and from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm Sunday. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Monday in the funeral home. Rev. Mervin Schwaub, Methodist minister, will officiate and interment will be made in the Perryville Cemetery.
