JENNIE FAYE LYTLE

Jennie Faye Lytle, 80, 348 W. Ellendale Ave., Dallas, Oregon, died Oct. 30 at Dallas Nursing Home. She was born in Truro. Iowa, daughter of Fred and Carrie Roberts Lytle Feb. 10, 1904.

She graduated from Truro High School and in 1949 from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She taught many years in Iowa elementary schools before going to Downers Grove, Illinois, where she taught until her retirement. She came to Oregon in 1980.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Delta Kappa Gamma, Business and Professional Women and Retired Teachers Association.

Survivors include her sister, Maxine McMurray of McMinnville; nephews, Larry McMurray of Salem and David McMurray of Bayside, California, and a niece, Janice Johnson of Bend.

Graveside services were Nov. 2 in Restlawn Memory Gardens on the Salem-Dallas Highway with Pastor Jack Powers of Christ's Church in Monmouth officiating. Arrangements were under direction of Dallas Mortuary Chapel.
