Mr. Lloyd J. Luecke, 58, of 827 Manitou Street, Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon,
April 17, 1987 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be
9:30 am Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Mary Catholic church,
Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Harold Berryman
and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Luecke was born June 27, 1928 at Manitowoc, son of Eleanor Rath Luecke and the
late Edgar Luecke. He was a lifelong Manitowoc resident, graduating from Lincoln
High School with the Class of 1946. Mr. Luecke was a member of the United States
Army from 1946-1947, serving overseas in Japan. He was a brick layer by trade and
also served as business agent for Brick Layers and Allied Craftsmen Local 11. He
married Patricia Ann Mrotek on September 27, 1952 at St. Mary Catholic church. She
preceded him in death on June 21, 1986.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Eleanor Luecke of Manitowoc; a brother and two
sisters-in-law, Tom and Dorothy Luecke of Green Bay and Rita Luecke of Milwaukee;
a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul and Lois Mrotek of Manitowoc; four nieces,
Debra, Sharon, Kathy and Linda and five nephews, Steve, Michael, John, James and
Charles. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 5 pm to 9 pm Monday where a prayer service
will be at 7 pm.
