Funeral services for John Loipersbeck, 62, of MR 2, Valparaiso, were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the LePell Funeral home. The Rev. Forrest Clark of St. Andrews Episcopal church, was officiating. Burial was scheduled for Memorial Park cemetery, Valparaiso.
Death occurred Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at Porter Memorial hospital following surgery and two weeks illness.
The decedent was born Nov. 15, 1896, in Austria and was a retired Pennsylvania railroad employee. His wife, Ruby, preceded him in death 10 years ago.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Mary Schulz, MR 2; two nieces, Mrs. Robert Book, Valparaiso, and Mrs. James O'Brien, Valparaiso, and two nephews, John J. Schulz, police patrolman for the city of Valparaiso, and William R. Schulz of Macon, Ga.
