Imogene "Jean" Lewis, 87, of Doniphan died Thursday, March 29, 2007, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mrs. Lewis was born January 19, 1920, at Ballard County, Kentucky. She was retired from the Waterloo factory in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Mrs. Lewis loved to fish with her grandson as well as quilting and taking care of flowers. She also enjoyed eating and riding around her farm. In her retirement she helped with seniors at the Church of God.
She was married to Leo Lewis in 1954 in Colorado. He preceded her in death in 1973. Mrs. Lewis was also preceded in death by her parents, Rube Feezor and Lizzie Hicks Feezor; three brothers; Raymond, Armond and John Feezor; and two sisters; Bessie Lynxwiler and Polly Wiggins.
Surviving are three daughters; Peggy (Clarence) Gillet of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Barbara Taylor and Pat (Dave) Leroux of Doniphan; and one son; David Lewis of Gatewood, Missouri; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Burial will follow in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
