Mrs. Eunice Knochel
REMINGTON-Mrs. Eunice Knochel, 91, died at 3:10 p.m. Saturday in Parkview Haven Retirement Home, Francesville. She had been in ill health the past six months.
Born in Livingston County, Ill., she had lived in the Remington area many years.
In 1909 she was married to Gustave Knochel. They farmed west of Remington until their retirement in 1954. He died in 1969.
Mrs. Knochel was a member of Apostolic Christian Church, Remington.
Surviving are six sons, Raymond, Allen, Maurice and Arthur, all of Remington, Fern Knochel of Buck Creek, and Richard Knochel of Jackson, Miss.; three daughters, Luella Glick of lafayette, Dorothy Keifer of Danville, Ill., and Marjorie King of Toledo, Ohio.
Also surviving are two sisters, Cynthia Baier of Remington, and Ruth Day of homewood, Ill.; and two brothers, Arthur Nussbaum of Remington, and Jesse Nussbaum of Waukarusa.
KNOCHEL, Mrs. Eunice-Friends may call at Stitz Funeral Home, Remington 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. The body will lie in state one hour in Apostolic Christian Church prior to service there at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, ministers of the church officiating. Interment Apostolic Christian Cemetery. Twenty grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren also sruvive. Two daughters, a son, one grandson, three sisters and a brother preceded in death. Friends so desiring may contribute in memoriam to the Apostolic Christian Cemetery Fund.
