A funeral for Ruth M. Freeman, a Southeast Portland resident, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Holman's Funeral Service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Scappoose.
Mrs. Freeman died of causes related to age Thursday in a Portland care center. She was 90.
She was born Sept. 12, 1902, in Milwaukie. Her maiden name was Knickabocker. She was a lifelong resident of the Portland and Scappoose areas. Mrs. Freeman had worked as a stenographer and private secretary for the U.S. Forest Service for about 30 years until her retirement in the early 1960s. Her husband, Robert R. Freeman, died in 1977.
Survivors include her sons, Glenn E. of Oregon City and Gordon R. of Portland; and one grandson
