He was born August 2, 1945 in Jamestown, N.D., the son of Edgar Klundt and Adina Irion Klundt. He received his elementary education in the Alfred Public School, and was graduated from high school at the School for the Blind at Grand Forks, N.D.
Following the completion of his education, he has been employed working for his father, farming near Alfred.
Surviving are his parents, two sisters, Sharon (Mrs. Vernon Mueller), Jamestown, N.D., Gloria (Mrs. Vance Kro), Fessenden, N.D., his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Bertha Klundt, Alfred, N.D.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, and his paternal grandfather.
The funeral service was at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 25, 1969 at the Temple Baptist Church in Jamestown with Rev. Gordon J. Voegele, pastor and Rev. R. C. Stading, Gackle, N.D., and Rev. N. E. McCoy, Jamestown, N.D., officiating. Burial was in the Alfred Cemetery at Alfred, N.D.
