Beverly Ann Kinnick, 72, of Haugen died Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. She was born May 17, 1938 in Champlin, MN to Earl and Hazel (Blesi) Hunt. She grew up in the Anoka area and graduated from Anoka High School in 1957.

After graduation, Bev worked at Munsingwear Company in Minneapolis until she met and married Edward Kinnick Jr. on June 11, 1960. She then moved to Haugen where they lived for over 50 years.

Bev loved sewing and making clothes and costumes for her family. She also enjoyed baking chocolate chip cookies, banana and rhubarb bread and kolaches, obtaining the Kolache Queen title several times during Haugen's Annual Fun Days. She also enjoyed fishing and listening to country music. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma and sister and will be sadly missed.

She is survived by: her husband of 50 years, Edward Kinnick of Haugen; 2 daughters, Joan (Jeff) Kahl & Jean (Mike) Swanson, both of Rice Lake; 3 sons: John Kinnick of St. Paul, MN; James "Charlie" (Lisa Wellvang) Kinnick of Rice Lake; Jeff (Barb) Kinnick of Haugen; 9 grandchildren: Dominic (Katie), Danielle, Daria & Doug Kahl; Jenica & Turner Swanson, Brittney & Tyler Wellvang, & Scotty Kinnick; 1 brother, Robert Hunt of Pine City, MN; 3 sisters: Sharon (Marvin) Jones of Pleasantville, IA; Beryl (Tim) Kuhlmey of Anoka, MN & Norine Pingree (Jim) of Anoka, MN. "Auntie Bev" has numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Verna Mae Siedschlag.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church-Haugen, WI with Father Dave Oberts officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Skinner Funeral Home - Rice Lake, with a rosary service at 8, and visitation for 1 hour prior to Mass Thursday at the church.
