Peggy Adams, 75, of Paducah, passed away at 10:56 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2009 at Western Baptist Hospital. Mrs. Adams was a member of Bellview Baptist Church, retired from Amerisource, a member of the Eastern Star Esther Chapter #5, an avid supporter of The Dream Factory and a volunteer for Western Baptist Hospital Auxiliary. Mrs. Adams is survived by two sons, Ronnie Adams and wife Debbie of Paducah and Keith Adams and wife Cheryl of Paducah. Four grand-daughters, Tabitha Sanders, Stacy Adams, Jennifer Adams and Danielle Day all of Paducah. Six great grandchildren. Three sisters, Carolyn King Durham and Vickie King both of Tiptonville, TN. and Doris King Stephenson of Milan, TN. and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade, L. Adams, two sons, Randall Adams and Darrell Adams. One sister, Betty King Adams and three brothers, Cayce King, Maril King and David King. Her parents were Elgie and Gertrude Whitson King. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 14, 2009 at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. E. Lee James and Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
