Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka (KS) for Mary L. Jones 81, formerly of Overland Park (KS), who died Sunday December 24, 1995 at a rest home in Kansas City KS.
She was born September 1, 1914 in Kansas City, Kansas. She had been a Meat Wrapper for the Meat Cutters Union.
She was a member of The Church of the Nazarene in Overland Park (KS).
Her husband, Clarence A. Jones, died in 1979.
Survivors include three sons, Clarence A. Jones, Jr. in California, Ronald P. Jones, Omaha (Nebraska), and James G. Jones, Alamo, California; two daughters, Patricia A. Klingler, Prairie Village (KS), and Karen C. Jones, Stanley, Kansas; three sisters, Bertha Kraft, Newton (KS), Emma Hayson, Albert Lea, Minnesota, and Elsie Williams, Andover (KS); 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Earlier services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at D.W. Newcomer's Overland Park Funeral Home. Relatives and friends will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Nazarene, 9030 Lamar, Overland Park (KS).
