Bismarck, N.D. --- Donna Mae Janke, 49, of Bismarck died of cancer on Sunday, July 28, 2002, at her home.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Wishek, N.D. The Rev. Gordon Neuberger will officiate.
Burial will be in church cemetery with Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Wishek in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the University of Mary College in Bismarck.
Donna Mae Janke was born June 14, 1953, to Gideon and DeLores (Kaseman) Janke in Ashley, N.D. She grew up and attended school in the Lehr, N.D., area. She attended Jack's Hairstyling College in Bismarck in 1972, and after graduation worked as a hair stylist in Ashley. She moved to Bismarck in 1976, and worked at the Regis Salon. She was also a waitress at the Elks Lodge and the Radisson Inn. She worked for the last 23 years as a dietician at the University of Mary College.
She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Wishek and the Am Vets Ladies Auxiliary of Bismarck.
She enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, crafts, visiting and children.
Survivors include her mother of Wishek and one sister, Karen Dworshak of Bismarck.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.
