Daughter of William Carter and Sallie Collie Carter. She married Melvin Thomas Brafford February 10, 1927. He died in 1929 from appendicitis. She married Robert Hutcherson June 13, 1931. She had a daughter named Agnes born in 1929 before Melvin died.
