Miles Husted of Bull Shoals, Ark., formerly of Truro, died Friday, October 19, 1979, in Lakeview, Ark. at the age of 87.
Born on August 27, 1892 in Clarke County, Iowa, he was the son of Robert and Gertrude Hull Husted. He attended Clarke County schools and Iowa State University at Ames. On January 27, 1918 he married Faye Lewallen who survives him.
Also among the survivors are five daughters, Frances Egan of Tigard, Ore., Margaret Davis of Norfolk, Ark., Roberta Davis of Des Moines, Mary Phillips of Truro and Jo Young of Winterset; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Gene Husted of Truro, and a sister, Gertrude Fisher of Atherton, Calif.
