He is survived by parents, Doug and Karen Hurt, brother Jason Hurt, sister Sarah Hurt both at home, special friend, Tera Hoffman, paternal grandparents, George and Barb Hurt, Ann and Jim Kingsnorth all of Battle Creek, maternal grandparents, Garritt and Jane Jones of Battle Creek, Hilda and Bob Torres of Augusta, uncles and aunts, Chris and Laura Jones, Joe and Sharon Barker, Randy Hurt, cousins, Ben, Cody, Shelby, and Ryan.
He enjoyed fishing, working with his hands, working on motorcycles and car stereos.
