OBITUARY:

Auburn- Marion Paradis Houghton of South Paris passed peacefully from this life the morning of April 20, 2011. Marion was the beloved child of the late Archie and Laura Paradis. She grew up in South Paris, attending school there and graduating valedictorian of her Paris High School class of 1940. Marion married Dr. Raymond Houghton in 1942. They moved with their children, to Thomasville Georgia in 1956, where "Doc" continued his practice and returned to South Paris in semi-retirement in 1975. She was the devoted mother to three children, Rae Jean, Raymond, Jr. (Bing) and John. Following the passing of her husband of 41 years, she made her home on Crystal Lake in Gray. Throughout her life she exhibited sincere love and devotion to her family and friends. Marion was predeceased by her husband, "Doc" and her son, Bing. She is survived by her daughter, Rae Jean Grzymala and her husband, Robert and her son, John and his wife, Susan. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Anthony, Paul, David and Kathryn.

Graveside services will be held at Riverside Annex Cemetery in South Paris, the date to be announced later.
