Giles and Lucinda were parents to five children. Minnie was born in Denver, CO, the others in Wyoming:
Minnie Belle b. 9/4/1864, d. 7/9/1876;
George Fred Charles b. 11/8/1870 and married Florence Hassel;
Walter R. b. 3/19/1873 and married Mattie ?;
Vilette B. b. 7/4/1876 and married George D. Woods;
Albert E. b. 7/1/1879, d. 7/18/1879.

PNEUMONIA KILLS PIONEER FREIGHTER
Giles Houghton, aged 83, one of the pioneer freighters of the west, is dead at Mercy hospital in Denver, as the result of pneumonia. Mr. Houghton went to Colorado nearly fifty years ago and erected the first stamp mill ever built in Central City. He later went to Cheyenne, where he resided for many years. Mr. Houghton leaves one daughter, Mrs. Vilette Wood of 57 West Dakota street, and two sons. It is expected that his body will be brought to Cheyenne for burial.

All members of the Cheyenne lodge No. 1, A.F. & A.M., will meet at Masonic hall this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock for the purpose of attending the funeral of our late brother, Giles E. Houghton, whose funeral will be held at 3 o'clock at Masonic temple.

FUNERAL OF GILES HOUGHTON SUNDAY.
The funeral of Giles Houghton, a pioneer Cheyenne citizen who died in Denver last Thursday, was held Sunday afternoon at the Masonic temple and was attended by many friends of the deceased. J.W. Hammond, B.H. Sage, Daniel McUlvane, W.S. Palmer, J.V. Ellis and A.E. Trump acted as pall-bearers, and interment was a Lakeview cemetery.
