She was born on April 24, 1944, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Elmer and Beatrice Findley Jennie.
She had worked at the Dutch Village Restaurant for 10 years. She loved Sunday fellowship at God's Country Chapel. She also enjoyed crocheting, cooking spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Threva adored her dogs, Dolly and Corky.
Threva is survived by her husband, Ronald Houghton Sr. of Clymer, whom she married Aug. 6, 1961; children, Ronald Houghton Jr. of Falconer, Debbie Houghton of Jamestown, Tina (Corey) Lisciandro of Jamestown, Stacey Houghton of Cherry Creek, Laurie (Jim) Nilson of Jamestown, Amy (Victor Jr.) Rex of Brocton, Kim Houghton of Corry, Pa., Nicole (Joe) Coccarelli of Jamestown; 16 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a sister, Dale Dean of Sheffield, Pa. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Leora Arnold.
