Richard J. "Dick" Houghton 60, Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009. He was born in Plymouth, IN on March 1, 1949, the son of the late William and Wanda (Ward) Houghton. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a realtor manager at ReMax Legends and worked for FedEx for six years. He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, MIBOR, National Association of Realtors, and the Indiana Association of Realtors. Dick loved to landscape, garden, kayak, fish, and most of all spend time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Caryl (Hoskins) Hougton; six sons, Jon, Ted, Alex, Chris, Jeff, and Matthew; two sisters, Pat (Gary) Crum and Cathy (Mike) Osowski. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Houghton. Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, November 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 4100 E. 56th Street, Indianapolis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mattew Catholic Church at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4.
