Immigrated from England in 1907 on the ship Empress of Ireland, to St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, and crossed to the United States at Duluth, Minnesota. Married at Leads City, South Dakota, on 17 June 1914, to Florence Pauline Grenfell. Cause of death: tuberculosis. His widow afterward married James O. Bennetts.
