Paul Bert Hobert, 62, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Hospice Ministries. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland.
Paul was born on December 10, 1948, in Oklahoma City, OK; the son of the late W. B. Hobert III and Verna Coker Hobert. A longtime resident of Jackson, he graduated from Provine High School and continued his education at Hinds Community College. Paul spent his career in construction. He liked sports, riding motorcycles, music and playing guitar. He loved spending time with his sons, Jason and Paul.
Survivors include: sons, John Paul Hobert of San Bernardino, CA; Jason Hobert of Lexington, KY; and dear friend, Marsha Hobson of Florence.
