Richmond Hill - Evelyn Morris Hennessee, born July 21, 1915 in Excelsior, GA, died peacefully at Hospice Savannah, Saturday morning, September 23, 2006.

Although she had suffered many years with Alzheimer's, the disease did not rob her of the memory of her beloved husband Luther, her generous spirit, or her smile.

Evelyn is survived by three sons, James Franklin (Betty), Billy Morris (Margaret) and Gary Luther; two daughters, Gail Greene and Debbie Hennessee; five grandchildren, Paul Hennessee, Andrea Preston (Jeff), Gary Greene, Gary Hennessee, Jr. and Megan Hennessee; three great-grandchildren, two sisters, Catherine Brannen and Wilhelmena DeLoach; one sister-in-law, Shirley Morris; and several nieces and nephews.

We who are left to miss them are thankful for the loving parents God gave us, Evelyn and Luther Hennessee.

Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 25, 2006 at Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Paul Hennessee, Gary Greene, Gary Hennessee, Jr., Bill Valentine, Mike Floyd and Hinton Arnsdorff.

In lieu of flowers remembrances can be sent to Hospice Savannah P.O. Box 13190 Savannah, GA 31416.
