George Hawes, a Cheyenne old timer died at Douglas yesterday.
Mrs. Hawes who is here was notified by telegraph. Deceased was 50 years of age. George Hawes was an old timer in this city. He was employed in various establishments as a book keeper and was once Leader circulator. He was highly respected as a citizen. The remains will be brought from Douglas today and the funeral will be held at the Congregational church Thursday afternoon. The Masonic Order will conduct the services.
