Patience Hartman was the widow of of Police Captain William C. Hartman. She was the daughter of Anthony & Martha Kennedy of Allentown NJ. She moved to Trenton when she was quite young. She lived at 595 Centre Street for more than 50 years. She was the oldest resident of the Sixth Ward at the time of her death. The Rev. Christian Ernat pastor of Wesley M.E.Church officiated at the impressive funeral services.
