Jimmie Lee Hamm was born April 30, 1928 in Okmulgee, Okla., to Henry and Lillie Simpson Beavers.
She passed from this life into Heaven on June 7, 2004, in Sun City, Ariz.
She lived in Arizona most of her life except for the years her husband was stationed in Alaska and Florida in the Air Force and then in Utah for a few years while he worked on construction projects.
Howard and Lee have lived in Wittmann since 1996.
She has been a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, a loving friend, valued nurse, a true gift from God. She is already greatly missed and will forever be cherished in our hearts.
Jimmie Lee is survived by her husband of 57 years, Howard Lynn Hamm. Her children include: Sharon (and Jim) Witte of Phoenix; Linda (and Lon) Brown of Wickenburg; Danny Hamm of Phoenix; Marilyn (and Mike) Cramer of Lacey, Wash.; John Hamm of Phoenix; and Lisa (and Ed) Shook of Price, Utah.
She also is survived by grandchildren Trent (and Donna) Hamm, Jay Hamm, Derek Jones, Jake Hamm Sr., Bobby (and Shannon) Hamm, Crystal and Shelby Brown, Stephanie Hamm, Danielle and Christina Shook, and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her 16-year-old brother Millard, and 9-year-old daughter Barbara Kay.
A memorial service was held at the family home on June 11, with Pastor Bill Root officiating.
All surviving family members and several long-time friends were in attendance.
