Many friends throughout this section will regret to hear of the death of William Edward Gradick, which occurred at his home in Jacksonville Tuesday morning, following a heart attack.

Mr. Gradick was born in Alachua county sixty-six years ago. Some thirty years ago he went to Jacksonville with his family and there he had ever since resided. For years he engaged in the wholesale cattle business, and in this connection became well and favorably known, not only to cattle men, but to business people generally throughout this section.

Besides the widow, Mrs. Laura M. Gradick, he is survived by one son, Leslie Gradick of Spartanburg, S.C., and two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Carathurs of Jacksonville, and Miss Laura Mae Gradick, of DeLand. He also leaves a brother, W. L. Gradick, of Jacksonville, who was his business partner, and his sisters.
